A Champion Is Born

Garru Dude has won the infamous Yearly Annual Tournament, that consist of well over 200+ players and grows ever yr. By doing so Garru Dude has now been labeled one of the premier top players on the game, not only by his humorous spam post, but also now for his game skill.

Garru Dude didn't brag anyway in the Tournament like many do so, that's hard not to do especially when he was labeled a favorite to win by coming in second place last Yr. I can tell you first hand, I played Garru Dude last yr in the finals and he was one of the toughest subjects I had the honor of playing.

Garru Dude also didn't wait till' the last minute to play someone, hoping to find easy people to beat. He played whoever challenged him as fast as he could. To me that's what makes great Champions - If you want something, go out and try your best to take it, donÔÇÖt waste time and make excuses.

With that said, from one past Champ to present Champ, he has and has always had my full respect, Congratulations Garru Dude.

This nomination is for Garru Dude, I know heÔÇÖs been nominated for FP already but I certainly believe one nomination isnÔÇÖt enough for the GT Champ. This guy came out as the victor among 236 players who have signed up for the GT 2006 Tourney. An accomplishment worth bragging about but I have not seen him talk or brag about it but instead he remained humble despite all the accomplishments. Garru DudeÔÇÖs name has consistently been among the list of finalists in almost all tournaments IÔÇÖve organized, which only proved he is a player of caliber.

IÔÇÖve seen this player evolve from a noob to the player he is now. Again through time he has proved to the entire GT community that he is a player of integrity, skills, wacky sense of humor, all rolled into one. Definitely a champ in his own right. Kudos and much respect for the GT Champ.
