Sportsmanship

"There is sportsmanship in all the great sports in the world like football, baseball, hockey, and basketball. You see the other teams congratulating the winning team and I'm sure the losing team is grieving for the win but they still congratulate the winning team.

This reminds me of GT. GG is a way of congratulating the other players for their good gameplay and effort to take the win and go on to another game. GG isn't just a don't attack before 80 rule, it is a way of saying congratulations on winning the game or simply letting the other player know they played a great game with a great strategy.

Then there are those who take games to seriously and often tend to curse at or insult the winning player or maybe someone who attacked them and caused them the loss. I know this goes on because I used to be one of these people and it is not something I'm proud of.

A word of advice to other players of GT:

If something happens in a game you don't like or you just needed that 300 points to get to the next rank, just shrug it off and just simply use the two letters, GG. GG meaning Good Game is a way of showing our sportsmanship in the GT community."
