Travis's Retribution

"Dear GT,

For a very long time I have kept my thoughts hidden, decided it is much better to be discrete rather then make enemies throughout GT and beyond. But due to understandable circumstances (decrease of GT IQ) I must express myself.

Travis: a name which all of you must have heard of. He is the game creator, which some people like, or like to hate. But you see Travis is much more then just an owner. He has been playing this game for far longer then any of you had. Some of you may look at him as a ruthless ruler with a savage desire to ban you. Some may look at him as a person who quite frankly doesn't give a shit. But very few people look at Travis for what he really is: An owner, a player and a human being. I will discuss each and every one of these characteristics:

The owner:

Have any of you ever wondered how a country, school, institution and earth itself would run without someone to control it. What a big word control is. In life you give and take. Some people would rather lock themselves up and deny existence and knowledge. But in essence the world we know would now exist without someone to control it, to set limits, rules and care about it. Of course this is a generalisation, many people have control on one small or bigger piece of what we call "The 21st century society". Travis is part of the society, we all are. But unlike others he managed to make a name in it. He managed to work his way up from the bottom and with age the harder it gets. So one day this man decides he wants to put all his work, all the hard years through college and university, to a meaning. So he makes a game, he names it Get Tiffany even thought the original idea was "get Brittany" which also happened to be an XXX related domain already taken. After probably months of work programming, testing and spending ages in technology related forums (I know about that to T: p)

He finally does it. His own game, his own code his own sweat. Probably none of you little boys and girls know how hard code is, what computers do in order to read and play what you so easily take for granted. But to those who do know, and unfortunately that is a very low majority, you do have respect for this person, even if your ego may sometimes grow a little bit too much.

After all this work Travis decides its time to actually make something out of all the work. This may be a hobby and something enjoyable, but servers, connections and life itself cost's money. Some of you may hardly understand the hardness of life until you will break down in front of a tall brick wall called reality. So Travis makes a few clothes, he works more and more, he makes a web-site, and he slowly slowly gets things started. I assume at start he didn't have anyone helping him, but in time I am sure he appointed admins and trusted people to operate inside GT.

As years pass like days, he makes new versions, people come and go money roll in and out, but something shall always stay. Travis shall always be here. He is part of the game. Hell, he is the game, his idea, his work and his success. But sometimes there shall always be a few infested scrotums out there (such as myself at some point :-d) that think defying rules makes them either cool, hard or probably better. Human nature is rebellious, sometimes I just want to break into Wall Mart and steal everything I see, but rules and the law don't allow it. If somebody would come to you, break your legs and then laugh, I bet you wouldn't want him to just get away with it. That's where rules come again, suing him, making justice, or doing what's right by yourself. It still follows the same line. You see, the CoC is not like the Bible, it's a guideline, which you must follow, even if not 100%, you must still respect it. Like the Law, school, work, everything has something, which must be followed in order to maintain order. Some may hate it, some may love it, but it is necessary. I find it so hilarious when somebody decides to cheat, break a rule, make 30.000 points, and then whines/whinges inside the forum which Travis made (through hard work that is), and after that with no common sense, decides to hate the owner for no reason at all, just some sort of horse shit motivation He banned me for cheating!!. But if people wouldn't be banned for cheating, what would happen then? Would GT be a place to like? Nope, everybody would slowly leave, people would find it pointless to try and get respect through rank because others like cheating. So Travis has to ban these people, I would, I know 99% of GT would. Another meaningless issue is the constant childish "Shit talk". Hell, I love doing it, but when this becomes your life hobby, making people unhappy and getting an erection out of something as sad as that, then you my friend, you are not only wrong, but stupid, silly and immature(excludes me :-S). Travis therefor must act yet again IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS GAME FAIR FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PLAY IT. In time I realised the same thing about WST, they bragged too much, and people started to leave, some had to be made an example out of (and yes, that does include me). But some, even know do not understand rules must be implied. If you would look at Travis, what he does, then you would realise he is as soft as anyone owning a game can be. He gives second chances, hell he gave me 5 damn chances. But some of you friend, some of you can't appreciate anything you have, because arrogance, ignorance and greed implement your own degradation, in the game, and in real life. But not many people want to pen their eyes and look things through a different perspective, a real one. But hey, in the end we all make what we can in the time that is given to us. To those that can open their eyes and see how life sometimes reflects the game, I admire you. To those that take everything as a joke, everything for granted and think of Mr. T as a power hungry little moron, shut up and grow up. Hell if I had the power id ban you and probably hack you, just to feel a little bit better. But yet again, Travis doesn't do that, all he ever wants to do is have the game and show it's not a laughable jungle with any control.

This is my version of the GT owner, Mr. Travis Apple, my last comment on this is about people referring to him as another kid from the next door. The guy is 34+. All you kiddies out there that probably e-mail him 24/7 asking why you got banned after cheating and being bad boys address him with no respect. Without respect, you don't get anything in life. It's the number one principle you must follow in order to reach your goals. So before you say * Yo Travis, mah dog, unbann meh, coz im innocent, ya hear*, think again and use respect to your advantage.

The Player:

As some of you may know, Travis has players/player in GT, some that I know, some that I don't. They are there because Travis is part of the game, he represents it. It's not an assumption, it's a damn fact.

Some would kill in order to find his name, which is no more but sad ;(. If Travis would share his names the whole of GT would bug him all the time, he wouldn't be a player any more, he's be a living idol who would be looked as a ticket waiting to be bought through ass kissing and being nice. But by hiding in accounts Travis is smart, he gets to know people, and he gets to make his own opinion on them. Its so easy to see someone named Travis in a game and act like an angel, then call him a flaming faggot on his back. But either way Travis doesn't really give a shit, all he wants is to be part of the game, chill out and get some money in (which didn't really happen until he had to work yet again for 4.0). So sit down, and shut up. If tomorrow I would buy this game, I assume I would leave my social life aside. This is why Travis has to remain under the curtain, but still play as an ordinary guy.

The Human:

Yeah, he is a person. He isn't GOD, and he isn't SATAN. He is a guy who does what we all do. Wakes up, does common things but unlike us, he owns a game named GT. Treat him as such, please understand this. The meaning of me writing this post is not to mind control, suck ass or do both.. This is my freedom of expression. If there is one thing people associate me with except an Internet loser, it would probably a guy that doesn't really give a shit about people in generals, a guy that likes to say everything straightforward and not hide under names.

I made this article in order to express my disappointment to people who have no idea what life is, but like to judge and make assumptions. Here's a few tips : Grow up, shut up, leave the arrogance and ignorance aside and last but not least use this as a life CoC : Change your thought and the world around changes.
