The Lowdown on Attacking & Defending
"I wrote this article after observing some GT players confusing and sometimes downright dopy reactions to violence in the game.
First things first, Why is it that attacking is seen as a 'nasty' thing to do, and defending is seen as a 'pussy' thing to do? Both of these options are parts of the game and were created for a reason.....to be used. Like it or not! If your goal is to win as much as possible and take out the No. 1 position, knowing when to attack and defend is vital to your success.
Now I've heard that attacking someone before they hit the 80 mark is a 'hater' thing to do. Well I'll let you be the judge of that. I personally mostly follow one simple rule... take out whoever threatens my chances of winning. If I have had a bad run and need to catch up I will drag down one of the leading players who will most likely be gifting mindlessly.
It's nothing personal, it's just a game.
Frequently I am bombarded by hate terms when attacking such as "hater", "noob" (always good for a laugh), and "dick weed". Now my question is, is it my fault that your ace card is to "gift"? No it is not, YOU sir, are a moron! Try and learn something about how the game works next time you are playing. Different moves were created for a reason (not just for "noobs" to fiddle with). Gifting puts you in a very vulnerable position, that's why you get the most points from it. With my strategic knowledge of the game I have managed to thwart off many clan couple team-ups by myself.
It's just like I always say, who needs clans when you've got plans!"
